Joseph Fraley, 38, was arrested on Saturday (Apr. 18) at approximately 4:45 a.m. for Criminal Mischief – State Jail Felony after he rode a scooter into the downstairs lobby of the Pearland Police Dept., located at 2555 Cullen Pkwy, discharging fire extinguishers and performing other acts of vandalism in both the downstairs and upstairs lobbies.Fraley was apprehended while still in the downstairs lobby of the building.
In addition to discharging the extinguishers when no fire existed, Fraley is alleged to have ripped access card readers and a thermostat from the wall, turned over chairs and damaged a candy machine that belonged to the Pearland Police Officers Association.
The 2007 Yamaha scooter that had been driven by Fraley was towed from the scene.
