The marijuana was delivered to the residence, where former Baltimore Ravens left guard, Ramon Bernard Harewood, 28, accepted the package.

Soon after, the Task Force served a search warrant at Harewood’s residence, located in the 2400 block of Dry Bank Ln. in Shadow Creek Ranch. They found approximately $4,500 worth of hydroponic marijuana.

Harewood was arrested and charged with the felony 3 offense of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. He was transported to the Brazoria County Jail and bond was set at $10,000.

Harewood posted bond on Saturday (Sept. 5).

Harewood has previous felony charges, including Possession of a Controlled Substance that he received via a Federal Express shipment.

“The Narcotics Task Force is working hard to keep these illegal drugs out of the schools and out of our kids’ hands,” said Sgt. James Brawner, one of the Task Force supervisors.

The Baltimore Ravens drafted Harewood in 2010. After spending two seasons on the injured list, he played during the 2012. He was waived in 2013, becoming a free agent.
