The Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force (BCNTF) recently completed Phases One and Two of “Operation Red November,” which cracked down on prostitution in the county.

Five arrests were made Tuesday (Nov. 9) in the southern part of the county, including one of Brazoria County Crime Stoppers’ “Most Wanted” criminals.

Four people were arrested Wednesday (Nov. 10) in the 1900 block of Country Place Parkway in Pearland.

They are identified as Gabriel Munoz Alvarez a.k.a. “Valeri,” age 38; Darya Sands, 20; Katerina Gutierrez, 24; and Donna McGhee, 20.

Alvarez and Gutierrez were charged for the third time each with Prostitution, and Sands and McGhee were charged for Prostitution for the first time. Alvarez and Sands were also charged with Possession of Marijuana.

Electronics were also seized at the scene and will be examined for evidence as the investigation moves forward.

“We got leads on these folks from, ‘client referral,’ said Sgt. James Brawner of the BCNTF. “We arrest the prostitutes and the johns. This is an equal opportunity sting,” he added.

The BCNTF consists of agencies across the county working together toward a common goal. The agencies represented in northern Brazoria County include the Alvin and Pearland Police Departments, as well as the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office.
