On Thursday (March 3) at approximately 4:35 a.m., the Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force (BCNTF) executed a search warrant at a residence in the 8000 block of McKeever road/CR 100, just outside the city limits of Pearland.
The Combined Agency Response Team (CART) of the Pearland, Alvin and League City Police Departments assisted the BCNTF by making entry and securing the residence. A search of the residence by BCNTF narcotic investigators resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana.
Rene Guzman, 46, was arrested and transported to the Brazoria County Jail without incident. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Possession of Marijuana.
“Here’s another well-known dealer off the street,” said Lt. Chris Reioux of the BCNTF. “Many thanks to our great CERT team from Pearland, Alvin and League City. They always do an excellent job.”
Investigators recovered 2.5 oz. of methamphetamine, 1.1 grams of cocaine and 4 grams of marijuana, worth a total of $2,640.00 on the street.
The search warrant was the result of a three-month narcotic investigation by the BCNTF, who received information that individuals at this residence were distributing narcotics in and around the City of Pearland.
